About Stephanie
After over 30 years in industry and finally listening to her inner-self,
Stephanie qualified as a hypnotherapist with the UK Academy of
Therapeutic Arts and Sciences. She holds the Diploma in Clinical and
Advanced Hypnosis and the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma.
Stephanie follows the ‘client-centred’ approach to therapy, which means
that she sees everyone and their experiences as uniquely individual.
Every client is treated with the non-judgemental respect and a positive
regard to which everyone has a right, regardless of any difficulty they
may have.
Stephanie is a member of the National
Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and is bound by their strict Code
of Ethics and Conduct. The positive, liberating and life-changing
potential of hypnotherapy is vastly undervalued by many, and for
understandable reasons; many people’s only exposure to hypnosis is
seeing a stage show, where the subjects are treated with disrespect and
ridicule. In order to try and distance herself and hypnotherapy from
such an abuse of a serious and powerful process, Stephanie specifically
applied for membership of the NCH, as they do not offer membership to
stage hypnotists. She is also a member of the National Guild of
Hypnotists (USA) and is registered with the
UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy
Organisations – UKCHO registration number 82711. If you wish to
view any of these organisations’ websites, please follow the links.
Stephanie is fully insured and registered under the Data Protection
Act, keeping all records in accordance with the NCH Code of Conduct and
the DPA guidelines.
Above all, Stephanie is committed to empowering the individual
and is here to help you now make the changes you want, to your life.
